EU legislative procedures

After accomplishing my PhD, I devoted my research activity to an exact examination of the practice of EU institutions during legislative procedures. I examine precisely the cooperation of EU institutions during law making processes.
I have studied the legislative process of the European Union since its establishment. The research on this unexplored field constitutes an extraordinary and highly challenging task, since one does not know what the practice exactly is. That is why, a careful examination of the respected scientific literature turned out to be insufficient. For me – as a lawyer – there were still many questions open. The unknown matters guided me towards my own interviews with Members of the previous and newly elected European Parliament on the inspiring practice of EU institutions regarding legislative procedures. This activity let me get to know the daily activities and practices better.
My passion is to combine the research on institutional practices with its influence on the written laws and the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
