The study was based on an extensive literature research
The inspiring practice of the EU institutions constitutes the focus of my research activity for the past 16 years. I published several pieces on that topic in well-known and respected German and Polish law journals. Further publications in British journal follow.
My PhD had a strong focus on national legislative procedures. I was researching the influence of EU institutions (the European Commission and European Central Bank) on national legislative proceedings and draft laws. I focused on German, Austrian and Netherlands legal orders, with Luxemburg, Poland and United Kingdom being mentioned.
Currently, I focus my research activity on EU legislative procedures. I conduct empirical research on EU legislative processes. I examine a.o. the cooperation of EU institutions during law making processes and the challenging participation of stakeholders. Moreover, the practices applied during the parliamentary debate and within the committees constitute a big part of my review. In this regard I meet and interview Members of the European Parliament, stakeholders and lobbyists.
